Arrow Metal Garden Sheds
Arrow is one of the largest manufacturers of metal garden sheds in the United States. They are so inexpensive and popular, that they have contracts with almost all of the major chain type home improvement stores, including Lowe's, Home Depot, Sears, Sam's Club and Wal*Mart. With that many chain stores selling them, you should be able to find a used one pretty much anywhere, and if you do, it's going to be cheap, cheap, cheap.
Arrow is currently using three different types of metal finishes in their shed kits.
Vinyl Plastisol Coating
Arrow Vinyl is a vinyl coated galvanized steel. The vinyl is applied over a full coat of primer, is 5 times thicker than standard steel finishes and is resistant to fading, dings and scratches, and comes with a 15 year limited warranty.
Galvanized Steel Coating
Arrow's galvanized steel sheds have a baked on polyester enamel finish and a 12 year limited warranty.
Arrow's wood grain finish has the look of wood, without any of the hassles of wood, like mold, mildew and rot destroying your shed. All the parts are still made from galvanized steel with a double baked on enamel finish, but with the warmer look and fee of wood for your garden or back yard. Arrow's woodgrain finished sheds come with a 12 year limited warranty.
A few things to remember if you're going to buy a used arrow shed is to try to find one that isn't too old, and hasn't been damaged by high winds. the best way to do this is to try and find sheds that have been on a foundation or have at least been tied down. If the shed isn't tied securely to the ground, then they will tend to move a lot in the wind, which will loosen their joints and let in moisture. If you do end up buying an Arrow garden shed, you might want to look into spending the money for an Arrow floor frame foundation kit.
